Flamenco is a dance and musical style originally from Andalucía in the south of Spain. The way it is performed today comes from the 17th century and maintains the same cultural integrity in both the music and the dance from that time. The dance, musicians and song are the most important aspects of the Flamenco style. Flamenco is performing an art recognized by UNESCO as cultural inheritance since November 2010.

Palau de la Música, is one of the most important and prestigious performance halls in Barcelona that regularly most great flamenco shows are held there. Each season there are a number of flamenco shows by famous artists from across the Spain.
