The Bullfighting Calendar for Spain

Whenever you hear the name of Spain, you would think about bullfighting. Spain is a country which is famous for its bullfights and it is became popular at the end of the 18th century. However you should remember that in Catalonia there is no bullfights anymore and it is banned. Therefore for watching bullfighting you should travel to the rest parts of Spain. For the most parts, the bullfights season runs from April till September, with minimum having one occasion a week (generally on Sunday), but there are a number of bullfighting festivals throughout the season. These bullfighting festivals generally run for once or takes weeks and feature bullfights nearly each day during the festival.

The most famous bullfighting festival in Spain is the Pamplona Running of the Bulls at the San Fermin festival in July (which features actual bullfights as well as the famous bull runs) but there are plenty of other bullfighting festivals all over Spain that garner less attention.
