WindEurope Annual Event 2024

Spain is among the leaders in Europe when it comes to wind.
With 27 GW of installed capacity, they rank among the continent’s most significant onshore wind countries. Additionally, by 2030, its Offshore Wind Roadmap hopes to install up to 3 GW of floating wind. Currently, the sector generates €3 billion for Spain’s GDP and employs 28,000 people. However, their goals for wind are still expanding, and wind is the main component of their long-term energy plan.

And the gem in Spain’s renewable crown is Bilbao.
Two of Europe’s top players in renewable energy have their headquarters there. In the meantime, the Basque Country hopes to grow into a significant offshore energy center in the next years. Regarding the energy shift, Bilbao appears to have a very promising future! For this reason, we are really excited to be returning to Bilbao for WindEurope’s Annual Event in 2024.

What you can expect

WindEurope’s annual on-and offshore wind energy event will take place in Bilbao from March 20–22. It will be a three-day conference and expo. We’re hoping that more than 12,000 people will join us today to see how wind energy is developing across Europe. Numerous conference sessions, hundreds of presenters, and more than 500 exhibitors across the whole value chain will be present in an attempt to promote their ideas and close new business. We’ll have instructional seminars that will walk you through all the ins and outs of the event, as well as social activities where you may meet new coworkers.
