Robotics, molds and dies, plastics and new materials will coexist with 3D printing in the third edition of IN (3D) USTRY From Needs to Solutions. The objective of the contest is to promote the use of this technology throughout the industry and for this reason this year incorporates new sectors as potential future users of additive manufacturing. Organized by Fira de Barcelona, ​​IN (3D) USTRY will be held from October 16 to 18 in Palace 8 of the Montjuïc exhibition center.

The third edition of IN (3D) USTRY From Needs to Solutions extends its influence on the industrial ecosystem by expanding the sectors present. In this way, the event will have five themes (advanced manufacturing, molds and dies, new materials, plastics and 3D printing) from which the contents of the contest will be developed.

Thus, the contest will include in the same space several potential user industries of 3D printing, which until now had not had a presence. Advanced manufacturing will incorporate the aspect of robotics applied to the industrial sector. In the space of molds and dies, we will explore how 3D printing can contribute to reduce costs in this subsector. And in the area of ​​new materials will address the great possibilities that open with the use of innovative plastic and metal components.
