Feria de abril (April Fair) is a week-long flamenco festival that follows in the aftermath of the city’s mega Easter celebrations. At this top event in April, you lucky things can expect a showcase of all things Spanish with horse riders, fun fairs and good times galore! You’ll find this in the Parc del Forum in the Diagonal Mar area of Barcelona. Other highlights include paella dishes that are the size of a small car and a Ferris wheel, offering some of the best views over the city.

As in the Feria de Abril in Seville, in Barcelona the fair begins with the lighting of the Porch , traditionally attended by city authorities.

Another year will be held in the Parc del Fòrum . The assembly will occupy an area of ​​about 87,000 square meters , which will be divided into several areas with the aim of differentiating the different activities to be held: booths, fair and food.

Thus, some 58,000 square meters will be used to house the nearly 100 stands and bars that will participate in this edition of the April Fair in Barcelona. The area of ​​the attractions , called Calle del InfiernoIt will have a hundred attractions for all audiences. This area will have the remaining 29,000 square meters.

As in the previous edition, a giant tent will be installed for the first time to house musical performances , dance classes , exhibitions and presentations , which will surely continue this year.

Within the cultural program, the contest of booths and a gastronomic contest will be held , both endowed with prizes. And of course there will be concerts and several performances.
