Itinerary
![]() BARCELONA – WARSAW. (Lunch and Dinner) Arrive to the Barcelona airport to take the flight to Warsaw , the capital of Poland, which was completely destroyed during WWII and was later rebuilt with great success. Upon arrival, we will go to the hotel while doing a brief overview that will allow us to capture the current situation of the Polish capital, where contrasts the Soviet-style architecture with the new and modern constructions. In the evening we will attend a piano recital with music from Chopin, an excellent opportunity to enjoy the work of the Polish genius in his own country and in the city where he lived as a young man and he trained as a composer. We will listen to some of Chopin’s masterpiecesIn the hands of great pianists in the interior of one of the historical palaces of Warsaw, while offering a glass of sparkling wine. Dinner. |
![]() WARSAW – BIALOWIEZA. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) After breakfast, we will visit the city. We will walk through the beautiful streets of the old quarter and its picturesque squares, such as the Mercat and the Castle with the Segismund column, and we will also see the Cathedral of Sant Joan. Along the charming Ruta Real we will find beautiful palaces and aristocratic residences, embassies and buildings of the Polish Government. We will arrive at the fantastic Royal Park Lazienki, where we will see the monument to Fryderyk Chopin, the illustrious Polish composer, and the beautiful Palace on the Waters. We will continue the itinerary towards the old Jewish ghetto, the monument to the revolt of Warsaw and the tomb of the unknown soldier. After lunch, in the afternoon, we will start the route towards Bialowieza National Park . Dinner. |
![]() BIALOWIEZA – GIZYCKO . (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) After breakfast, we will take a tour of the history of ferrets and European bison reserves, while we appreciate the great variety of trees, wildflowers, birds and mammals that live in the park. After lunch, we will leave to the region of Masuria, to Gizycko, the capital of the region, where we will enjoy the surroundings on the banks of the lake . Dinner. |
![]() GIZYCKO – LIDZBARK WARMINSKI . (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) After breakfast we will start the excursion that will take us to discover Masúria, which is also known as “the region of the thousand lakes”. Our first stop will be Gierloz , where we will visit the general units of Hitler, a set of bunkers built in 1941 by the Nazis, which is part of a military base complex of the German army during World War II. It was here that he attacked Hitler in 1944, and a year later the bunkers were exploded by order of Hitler. At the end of the visit, we will continue until Lidzbark Warminski , an important population of the Teutonic order. We will have a dinner with a medieval presentation. |
![]() LIDZBARK WARMINSKI – MALBORK – GDANSK. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) After breakfast we will go further to the north of the country. In Malbork we will visit the fortress of the Teutonic Knights, one of the largest medieval castles in Europe, divided into three large sections, all separated by pits and bridges, as well as the high walls and towers. We will see a large collection of amber pieces and jewelry, as well as a magnificent sample of ancient swords. We will dine and we will travel the few kilometers that separate us from Gdansk, capital of the Baltic coast and one of the main cities of the country with regard to economic power. Dinner. |
![]() VISITED CARGO AND ORGAN CONCERT AT THE OLIWA CATHEDRAL . (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) After breakfast, we will visit the urban complex called « Triciutat », formed by Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. We will take a walk through the charming old city, where the 18th century Gdansk is appreciated, with tall, slender buildings, with pointed roofs and decorated facades, each painted in different colors and lined with wide cobbled streets. From this historical center, we can see the cranes of Lenin’s famous shipyards, where we will come to admire the fascinating monument raised as a result of the union demands that in 1980 moved the country and almost all of Eastern Europe. Inside the gothic cathedral of Oliwa, we will contemplate one of the greatest and most impressive organs of Europe, and we will enjoy a musical listening of this magnificent instrument. Then, by boat, we will go to Sopot, which is at the entrance to the Baltic and has the longest breakwater in Poland. We will lunch and continue the route to Gdynia, an important port city with very interesting nautical museums. Dinner. |
![]() GDANSK – TORUN – LODZ. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) We will leave to Torun after breakfast, one of the most enchanting medieval villages, birthplace of the famous astronomer Nicolau Copèrnic. Founded by the Teutonic Barons in 1233, its strategic position at a crossroads of trade routes made him a major member of the Hanseatic League. Upon arrival, we will visit this town, which is, as a whole, a universal monument declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. We will walk through the old quarter, where there are numerous museums, gothic churches, medieval gates and walls, as well as the house of Copernicus. We will lunch and we will continue towards Lodz, one of the most industrialized cities in Poland in the 19th century, center of Polish, Jewish, German and Russian trade. We will walk through the street of Piotrowska, possibly the longest commercial street in Europe. Once the visit is over, we will go to the hotel. Dinner. |
![]() LODZ – CZESTOCHOWA – CRACOVIA. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) Breakfast at the hotel and exit in the direction of Krakow, passing through the city of Czestochowa, the so-called spiritual capital of Poland, where pilgrims and visitors from all over the world are grouped to address, especially, the monastery of the Pauline parents , center of marital worship. We will visit the magnificent sanctuary of Jasna Gora , one of the most important places of Christian worship, and where is the miraculous image of the Virgin with the Child, the venerated Black Virgin. It is in this chapel where John Paul II, during his visits to the country where he was born, celebrated mass missions. After lunch we will arrive to the city of Oswiecim, where we will visit the old concentration camp and extermination of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest factory of death raised by the Nazis. We will visit the museum where thousands of photographs and documents of the victims are exposed, as well as the facilities of the field, which is not surprising because of their magnitude, since they could live up to two hundred thousand people at a time. Without a doubt, visiting this painful place reveals the unimaginable brutality of war and warns us of the danger of putting it before the human being. At the end of the visit, we will continue on our way to Krakow, one of the largest, most important and oldest cities in the country. Dinner. |
![]() (CRAZY) VISITS CITY AND MINES OF WIELICZKA. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) After breakfast, we will begin the discovery of this medieval city, a cradle of the history of the country. Former capital, it has always been the cultural, scientific and artistic center of Poland. We will visit the main places that make up its historical and architectural richness: the Wawel castle, the seat of the Polish kings until the 17th century; the old quarter, surrounded by a park that replaces the old defensive walls of the city, with its spectacular market square, one of the most beautiful in Europe; the church of Santa Maria and its main altar in carving of wood, by the great medieval artist Veit Stoss, and the Jaguelónica University, founded in the Middle Ages by the Polish king Casimir el Gran, where he studied Copernicus. In the afternoon, after lunch, we will head to Wieliczka, on the outskirts of Krakow, where we will visit the famous salt mines, declared a World Heritage Site, in continuous operation since the 13th century. We will descend to the top three levels of the mine, up to a depth of 135 m, to admire the impressive sculptures that have been formed in the salt rock. Dinner. |

(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) We will have lunch at the hotel and we will leave towards Zakopane, a town located in the heart of the Tatra mountain range, with heights above 2,000 m, where a typically alpine atmosphere is breathed. We will devote the day to discover the surroundings of this idyllic place, surrounded by the most spectacular landscape of the country in the middle of the mountains. The lakes, waterfalls and varied fauna make this area a spectacle of nature, while some of its villages cause the sensation of transporting us past centuries, given their good state of conservation. Without a doubt, the exceptional beauty of this environment, with the numerous exhibits of a unique architecture invented at the end of the 19th century in the form of beautiful houses, churches and wooden chapels (U), together with the richness of local folklore can be perceived at every step, They make Zakopane one of the most charming places in Poland. We will see the old cemetery and walk along the street of Krupowki, the market street where you can buy everything from local sheep cheeses, to skins with colored embroidery and wool jerseys, to puppies of the native breed pastor of the Tatra. Later, we will return to Krakow. Dinner. |
