After the visit we will go to dinner and to the hotel (4 *) where we will be staying to spend the night.

Breakfast. Departure to visit the city of Athens. We will find the spirit of the Olympics of antiquity in the stadium of Kalimármaro. On the way to the Parliament of Greece we will see the Arch of Hadrian, and upon arriving at the Constitution Square (Syntagma) we will also see the monument of the Unknown Soldier and the traditional Change of Guard. We will continue the visit to reach the Plaza de la Concordia (Omonia).

Visit to the famous Acropolisfrom Athens. The Acropolis was literally the “high city” and was present in most Greek cities, with a dual function: defensive and as the site of the main places of worship. The Acropolis of Athens is located on a hill about 165 meters above the city level. It is also known as Cecropia in honor of the legendary serpent man, Cécrops, king of Athens. We can see its monumental entrance door, the Propileus, and the Nike Apta temple, where formerly was the bronze statue of the Athenian goddess. On the right, we find the Parthenon or Atena Pàrtenos (the Virgin) impassive. And to the left, almost at the end of the Acropolis, we will see the six caryatids that support the Erection. Some remains of the Dionysian Theater still remain. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987 in Paris.

After the visit, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Rhodes. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Before arriving at the Palace of the Grand Master, we will travel through the Burgo area and the Solimà el Magnífico mosque, the Turkish baths and the Hospital dels Cavallers in the Mouseíou Square, which now houses the Archaeological Museum. The culmination of this walk through the medieval city of Rhodes is the Castle. The Palace of the Grand Master is a magnificent unfinished building, the main monument of the Ancient City.

When you return to Rhodes, we will stop at the town of Archangelos, which has a fortress of knights and various medieval churches, also decorated with frescoes.
